Preserving Natural Resources
Thrdugh the changes'in the ways Of making a living in a family over several gen,erations, man has been warned against waste of natural resources and emphasizing the urgent need to preserve these resources.
Ever since man appeared on the earth, man's survival has been heavily relied on nature. Almost everything we use in our everyday life comes fromm'notate, ranging from the food we eat, the water we drink, to the wood which is tm'ned into furniture.With the development of technology and population growth, the amount and range of materials used has increased at an alarming rate.However, natural resources are not inexhaustible. Some reserves are already on the brink of exhaustion and there is no hope of replacing them. The widespread water shortage is an example in point. If man continued to squander natural resources with no thought for the future, the later generations would be in danger. It is up to us to take effective measures before the situation gets out of hand.
保護(hù)自然資源
經(jīng)過(guò)幾代人謀生方式的變化，人類已經(jīng)得到警告，要反對(duì)浪費(fèi)自然資源，急需保護(hù)這些資源。
自從人類在地球上出現(xiàn)以來(lái)，人類的生存就一直依賴自然。我們?nèi)粘Ｉ钏玫囊磺校瑥某缘臇|西、喝的水到做家具的木材，幾乎都來(lái)自自然。隨著科學(xué)技術(shù)的發(fā)展以及人口的增長(zhǎng)，所用物品的數(shù)量和范圍以令人擔(dān)憂的速度在增長(zhǎng)。然而，自然資源并不是無(wú)窮無(wú)盡的。一些儲(chǔ)量已經(jīng)到了窮盡的邊緣，而且沒(méi)有希望替換它們。分布廣泛的水的缺乏就是一個(gè)例子。如果人類不為將來(lái)著想繼續(xù)浪費(fèi)自然資源，后代就會(huì)受到威脅。我們應(yīng)該采取有效措施，防止形勢(shì)惡化。
