  The road to success作文 篇1

When a beggar leaves his mother‘s house, his soul is like being baptized.

At this time, he has only one firm belief: with one hand, to create an amazing performance. It’s no use saying nothing. Soon, the beggar came to the bookstore, picked up a long lost high school textbook, bit his teeth and read it word by word. It was midsummer and the weather was hot. In the small bookstore, it was very hot, and there were buzzing mosquitoes everywhere, biting dozens of bags with his hands, but the beggar ignored and continued to read his own books. Alas! It‘s ridiculous for a beggar to read a book even if he has no money! A young man who had just come in glanced at him and went to read a book. Your beggar was insulted and angry. But instead of blaming the young man, he studied harder. Because the beggar is one armed, it is very difficult for him to turn over the books. However, in order to read, the beggar had to overcome these difficulties one by one.

He always read for two or three hours. It’s often read that the bookstore is going to close before it comes back to mind. In order to acquire more knowledge. The beggar put up with other people‘s white eyes and asked others for advice modestly. Soon the beggar became a regular customer of the bookstore: though he never bought a book. The behavior of the beggar moved a staff member in the bookstore.

So the staff member introduced the books that were good for him when the beggar came. Beggars are more eager to read!Later, he became an excellent engineer. One day, he came to a construction site and wanted to do something for them. The boss didn’t believe it, so he deliberately challenged him: draw a drawing for me to see! I didn‘t expect that he really drew a very good drawing.

Soon, the beggar became a chairman. Become a designer.

  The road to success作文 篇2

No one has the exclusive way to success. Some say money. Some say love. Others say a house, a car, a child, a degree from a top university-but all are of these are only outward ways to show others that we’re successful. People think that they must have these things before they can be happy, but Scott Achor in “The Happiness Advantage” says that the opposite is true. Achor, who is a professor at Harvard University and who has been teaching the “Happiness Course” for fifteen years, recently wrote this book to show that happiness breeds success, not the other way around. When I read it, it struck a chord with me and I realized that truly positive, happy people always seem to love what they do and who they are with. Even if times get tough, they don’t knuckle under. They persevere and overcome all obstacles.

To me, the way to success is to figure out what you truly believe in and love in life. You should write up a mission statement about how you can contribute to the world by doing what is meaningful to you. Then, you should go after your dream-no matter what it is or if it fits society’s version of a successful reality. Set goals, divide them into specific tasks, learn what you need to learn, do what you need to do and always keep the prize in mind. The way to success is to have a clear vision of your future and know what will make you happy. If you are doing what you love, with people that you care about, and making a meaningful contribution to the world, you will not only be happy, but you will be successful.

  The road to success作文 篇3

There is a statement by Abraham Lincoln, which is that “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe.” Obviously, we can draw the conclusion that it is tremendously important for being successful to make full preparation.

That is to say, we can make it by enough preparation. For one thing, opportunities come when someone has already prepared. Thus, we can catch the chance easier than those who are not prepare in advance. Last but not the least, being well-prepared makes us more confident about what we expected. Additionally, enough preparation is benefit for us to handle challenge.

Consequently, only in this way can we make a success and lead us to a wonderful life, which we have expected in numerous times.

  The road to success作文 篇4

There is a famous remark from Abraham Lincoln “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." That's to say, sharpening your knife won't waste your time for cutting your firewood.

If your axe is blunt, it will seriously affect the speed and efficiency of cutting trees. Even though sharpening the axe before chopping down a tree takes you sometime, the speed and efficiency of it will be improved a lot, and you will spend less time cutting down the same tree. Similarly, if we want to succeed, we'd better improve ourselves first. What should we do to achieve success? Many of us have set lofty goals, but we had better start by preparing to confront difficulties, and proceeding with the very foundation. Just stop talking and get down to working. With the exception of perseverance and diligence, it is extremely necessary for us to have some useful methods.

Just remember, haste makes waste. Good tools are prerequisite to the successful execution of a job. To gain success, we should choose the right methods, and make enough preparations, and then we are on the way to success.

  The road to success作文 篇5

Everyone tries to achieve success in his career. However, someone firmly attains his goal while another fails. Why? The one continues his cause to the end through long periods of hard struggling, but the other is easily disappointed or stops halfway. Good preparation, perseverance and diligence are the three essentials of success. A man of solid preparation and perseverance always has an inflexible spirit. He sticks to his cause no matter how tough it might be. Dr. Sun Yat-sen was such a man. Many of his attempts failed, but he held to his purpose with firmness and finally succeeded in overthrowing the Qing Dynasty. Diligence means steadiness in ones work and study. Su Qin stabbed himself in order to keep himself attentive to studies. Marx often worked 15 hours a day. Life is short and we have many things to do. Without diligence no one can achieve anything. I believe that where there is a preparation there is a way, and that success belongs to those who can suffer long years of patient toil and constant efforts.

  The road to success作文 篇6

There is no doubt that we all want to be successful. But what, s the main concern of the way to success? From Abraham Lincoln, s famous remark, "Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe", I learn that if we want to achieve success, we must make full preparation for it.

Only if we are well prepared, can we catch the opportunity which occurs once in a while. In our daily life, we have to expand our horizon and lay a solid foundation for success. It will be a long way to be successful thus we have to accumulate our knowledge day by day. And we can, t achieve success in one or two days. It will help us solve problems more efficiently if we have a broad horizon. What, s more, opportunities always occur out of our expectation so we have to make ourselves well prepared. If we prepared, we will catch up with it whenever it comes up.

Opportunities give priorities to the people who make preparation for them. What, s more, success goes along with opportunities. We should develop the ability to solve problems in different and efficient ways therefore we can make our way to success more easily.

  The road to success作文 篇8

“Grasp every minute of life force, spare no effort to dream in your heart, how to see rainbow without experiencing wind and rain, no one can succeed casually”.

This is the lyrics of the familiar melody “true hero”. Indeed, as the song says, no one can succeed at will.Einstein, a famous inventor, did thousands of experiments before he became a famous inventor. People only see the glory of his victory. How many people know the hardships behind him?Gao Shiqi, a famous scientist and science popularization writer in China, I believe that everyone has read his works, but who can think of the circumstances under which he wrote them?

At the time of national liberation, he was paralyzed, unable to move his tongue, and could only utter “ha ha” in his speech. When eating, someone has to send the cooked food to his throat to swallow it slowly. But it is in such circumstances that Gao Shiqi still insists on literary creation, which has today‘s brilliance.Grandpa Qi Baishi’s shrimp painting is superb, but grandpa Qi Baishi‘s shrimp painting is not so easy as it looks. You can get it easily. On Grandpa Qi Baishi’s desk, there is often a sea bowl filled with clear water and living shrimps. Grandpa Qi Baishi lies on the edge of the bowl for a long time, observing the activity of shrimp.

For a long time, Grandpa Qi Baishi‘s heart appeared the character and appearance of shrimp, so he could paint the shrimp clear, transparent and lively. No one in the world can succeed without effort.

If you want to succeed, you have to work hard.

  The road to success作文 篇9

Just as the old saying goes “Good beginning is half done”, illustrating the importance and necessity of the preparation work on the condition that you have the longing for the success .A great proportion of inpiduals hold the view that preparation makes an essential part of in the process of achievement; on the contrary, the other parts of persons are in favor of the idea that the previous arrangement is a minor factor for success.

The essentiality of the preparation work is able to be accounted by the following example .As a matter of fact, the method accounts more than the results for the majority of situations, For instance, a student who wants to win outstanding academic performance ought to learn the effective and reasonable methods and approaches for memory and comprehension of the subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and so on. The workers in the factories should learn to master the technique of operating the machines beforehand and in this way can they produce the qualified goods and merchandises.

Generally speaking ,Lincoln’s remark “give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe ”reveals the imperative of make preparation .Undoubtedly, only by arranging beforehand can we achieve success whenever we face the perplexing and tough situations.

  The road to success作文 篇10

During the summer holiday of 2007, I think I should do something meaningful instead of staying at home and watching TV. So I got a job at a KFC fast food restaurant and worked there as a cleaner. Every day I went to work early in the morning and got home late in the evening. I worked 7 hours a day for three weeks.

The job was hard, boring and seemed endless, which made so tired that I almost quit half way. After all, I stuck to it with my determination. Finally, I finished the job before the new school term began.

Now I understand what labor means. I think it was really a successful experience.

  The road to success作文 篇11

“Three, Two, One, Start”, with the light on, the final test in the Shanghai area of the English Contest in East China began.

I'm the contestant“F”. Fortunately, during the first three items, my scores were lower only than the first one. But in the last item----quick response, things changed. I knew that if only I could answer one question correctly, I would have the chance to go to Nanjing for the final contest. So no sooner had Miss Zhang, the hostess, given the question “name three of the novels written by Charles Dickens”, than I pressed the button. Though I know many of the novels written by him very well, such as Hard Times, Oliver Twist, A Tale of Two Cities, Old Curiosity shop, David Copperfield, I was so nervous at that time that I could only remember two of them. So ten points were taken away.At last I only got the third prize. But from taking part in the contest, I have learned a lot.

When I learned of the holding of the English Contest on“English Pictorial” in April, I was so confident that I entered my name for it immediately. And I managed to pass the“written test”and the“oral test”,which were held in the middle of July. But my nervousness resulted in my failure in the following test.

Also I found that success in an English Contest depends on not only knowledge of

English itself but also knowledge at large. For example, in the last item there was such a question:“Tell the full name of Great Britain and what do people call her flag.”Though I know the answer of the first part of the question, I did not know the name of the flag. Now I know it's called Union Jack. So, you see, confidence and knowledge are two very important things which lead to success. Do you think so?
