They lived a hard life.In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

在比賽的路途中，我們出了一點小插曲：當上了城西干道高架橋時，城西干道上竟然堵車了，車子一動不動，就像一件擺設(shè)。我看了一下表，猛地一驚，已經(jīng)3:45分了，在這樣堵下去，我就要遲到了。這可怎么辦？我焦急萬分。我想到了愛情公寓這部電視劇里的場景，主人公曾小賢被堵在中環(huán)路上進退兩難，我現(xiàn)在也是這樣，最后，我們終于慢慢的移動到了堵車的源頭，終于又走上了好走的`路。
·到了考試地點致遠外國語小學了，此時，我的心非常的緊張。雖然我已經(jīng)會背了我的演講稿，也會唱那一首歌，可是我還是覺得很緊張。這時，老師喊到了我，我平復(fù)自己的心情，和媽媽一起走進了考場。在考試中，我雖然有些緊張，但努力的大聲演講，我認為講的非常的不錯�？墒窃谧詈蟮臅r候出了點意外，在老師說："thank you."的時候，我給老師鞠了一躬，就慌慌忙忙的走出了考場，老媽對我說，你也應(yīng)該講一下thank you，我覺得這是我的一個失誤。

我想應(yīng)該先從26個英文字母開始教，就找出來一些白色卡片，做了26個英文字母卡，就開始一個一個的教給奶奶發(fā)音，奶奶一遍一遍地努力學習。從學習發(fā)音到自然拼讀，又教給奶奶如何默寫單詞，奶奶學的可認真了。
經(jīng)過我的耐心指導(dǎo)和奶奶的.努力學習，終于奶奶得到了很大的收獲，學會了很多英語單詞和句子。是的，也流下了不少學習的汗水，真所謂：一分耕耘，一分收獲。自從奶奶開始學習英語，家里增添了不少歡聲笑語。
