As an English student I have recently completed my study of Unit Seven in class. This unit mainly focuses on the topic of transportation and traffic safety which is very helpful in our daily lives.
Throughout this unit I learned about various types of transportation such as cars buses and bicycles. I also learned about traffic rules and regulations which are crucial for ensuring our safety on the roads. I especially enjoyed learning about the different traffic signs and symbols as they are an important means of communication for drivers and pedestrians alike.
In addition to learning about transportation and traffic safety this unit also provided me with a chance to improve my English skills. I practiced reading writing listening and speaking in English which helped me to become more confident and proficient in the language.
Overall I found Unit Seven to be a very valuable and informative experience. I believe that the knowledge and skills I gained from this unit will be useful to me in the future both in my daily life and in my further studies of English.

The existence of the oceans allowed the first life to form, grow, and reproduce. T he oceans create atmosphere, weather, and climate. They supply the world with an abundance of life, much of which sup plies humans, among others, with transp ortation, food, medicines, and recreation . While other species may enjoy the ben efits of the oceans, humans have becom e so wide spread and detached from the world around them that they have effect ively brought the oceans to the brink of extinction in a very short time (Woodard, 20xx). While the oceans count time in th e billions of years, humans count time in years or decades. In the last fifteen deca des, human activity has decimated a sig nificant portion of the ocean, creating "d ead zones" where there is no oxygen to support life. The ocean chemistry is beco ming dangerously acidic due to the burni ng of fossil fuels and the dumping of was te in the oceans, and may trigger a non-r eversible chain reaction of extinction, sa y before the end of this century (Global warming, 20xx). The goal is to motivate, educate, and offer possible solutions to t he problem, however it will not work unt il people across the globe work together.

My favorite sport is basketball. I like playing basketball because it is a team sport that requires coordination and strategy. It also helps me improve my physical health and mental focus.
Playing basketball is a great way to stay active and fit. It helps me build strength endurance and agility. When I play basketball I am constantly moving jumping and running which helps me burn calories and stay in shape.
Basketball also helps me develop my mental focus. I need to pay attention to my teammates' movements and positions on the court. I have to think quickly and make split-second decisions during the game. This improves my problem-solving skills and enhances my ability to think under pressure.
Moreover basketball is a social sport. I enjoy playing with my friends and teammates. We work together to achieve a common goal which is to win the game. It helps me build friendships and develop teamwork skills.
In conclusion basketball is my favorite sport because it keeps me physically active improves my mental focus and allows me to socialize with others. I always look forward to playing basketball and I believe it will continue to be my favorite sport in the future.
