Now you can see this lawn is the "gate" of Stanford University. You may feel very strange: why does this university have no gate? Walking along the lawn, a few small and exquisite houses appeared. On the left side of the house stand several grotesque statues. It is said that the number of Rodin sculptures collected by Stanford University is second only to that of France. What we see now is Rodin's figure sculpture "the righteous people of Calais". Jialaiyimin is one of Rodin's representative group sculptures, which is based on a real story in history. When the British invaded France in the middle of the 14th century, Calais could not resist, so they had to accept the condition of Surrender: let six influential citizens take the key of Calais to the British army and be executed, so the sculpture is to commemorate the six people who died. Around the statue came a small botanical garden. The grotesque statues and Botanical Gardens form a unique contrast beauty, which is also the expression of Stanford University's freedom of thought. OK, now we come to hufota, the tallest building in the University. It is named after the 31st president of the United States. We are going to take the lift to the top of the tower. At the bottom of each window on the top of the tower, there will be a picture. You can take the same scenery on the corresponding window. You can try it. There is a small room in the top of the tower. Through the transparent door, you can see an old-fashioned piano. On the wall next to the glass door is a special picture of a man playing in front of the piano. When you come down from the hufo pagoda, you will see a green lawn in front of you. After careful observation, you will find that there will be a small hole every 4 meters on the lawn, and these small holes will appear an automatic watering device every 10 minutes.
