The phrase "National Day", which originally referred to the matter of national festival, can be traced back to the West Jin at the earliest stage. Western Jin Dynasty writer Lu Ji in "five other princes theory" in an article once to have "national day alone for its advantages, the main worry about Mo and its victims," the record, China's feudal era, the national celebration event, too great emperor ascended the throne, birthday (Qing Dynasty called long live the emperor's birthday festival). Thus in ancient China the emperor ascended the throne, the birthday is called "national day". Countries today called for the National Day anniversary.
