Statement forms陳述句形式

教學(xué)重點(diǎn)與難點(diǎn):

1.the Blacks布萊克一家

在人的姓前面用定冠詞the,后面加s,指該人的全家或其夫婦兩人,代表的是復(fù)數(shù)概念,作主語(yǔ)時(shí),其謂語(yǔ)應(yīng)用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

When I got there, the Turners were having dinner.

當(dāng)我到那兒的時(shí)候,特納一家正在吃晚飯。

The Smiths live upstairs.

史密斯一家住在樓上。

The Greens are all doctors.

格林一家都是醫(yī)生。

2. … , if you can. 如果能夠的話(huà),…

You‘d better go to bed earlier tonight, if you can.

5. see sb do sth

表示感覺(jué)的動(dòng)詞,如:see, watch, hear, feel等,其賓語(yǔ)后面的不定

式,一般不帶to,作賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)。

A woman saw it happen when she was walking past.

一位婦女走過(guò)的時(shí)候,她看見(jiàn)了(這件事的發(fā)生過(guò)程)

I saw him walk across the street.

我曾經(jīng)看到他穿過(guò)大街。

I watched him go into the house and come out again a few minutes later.

我看到他走進(jìn)了那所房子,并且在幾分鐘之后有出來(lái)了。

I often hear her sing this song.

我經(jīng)常聽(tīng)到她唱這首歌。

I felt the earth move just now.

剛剛我感到大地動(dòng)了一下。

具有使動(dòng)意義的動(dòng)詞let和make后面的不定式也不帶to.

After the boys moved away the bag, the girls let the traffic go again.

The teacher made the boy stand at his desk the whole class.

6.give sth back to sb. 把…歸還給某人

=give sb back sth

=return sth to sb (return sb sth)

She picked it up and gave it back to me.

她把它撿了起來(lái),并把它還給了我。

Don’t forget to give the money back to Jim.

=Don‘t forget to give Jim back the money.

別忘了把錢(qián)還給杰姆。

Please remember to return the bicycle to Li Lei.

請(qǐng)記著將自行車(chē)還給李雷。

7.lucky adj. 幸運(yùn)的,好運(yùn)的

I was lucky enough to get a job.

我很幸運(yùn)能夠得到一份工作。

8. worry about … 對(duì)…感到憂(yōu)慮;為…擔(dān)憂(yōu)

worry about和be worried about兩種表達(dá)法均正確。前者常用于語(yǔ)氣較強(qiáng)的祈使句中,后者一般用于陳述句中,有時(shí)兩者也有混用的情況。

Don’t worry about any new words.

不要為生詞擔(dān)憂(yōu)。

Don‘t worry about my health. I can look after myself.

不要為我的健康擔(dān)憂(yōu)。我會(huì)照顧好自己的。

She is worried about her daughter’s studies at school.

她為她女兒在學(xué)校的學(xué)習(xí)著急。

9. land vt. & vi. (飛機(jī))降落,使降落;(人)上岸,使上岸

It landed in the middle of the road.

它落在了馬路中間。

The plane landed an hour later.

飛機(jī)是在一個(gè)小時(shí)之后降落的。

The spaceship landed in the sea this morning.

太空船今天早上降落在海面上。

The pilot landed the plane safely in the heavy snow.

在大雪中,飛行員將飛機(jī)安全地降落了。

10. shout at/to sb. 對(duì)某人大聲喊叫

Don‘t shout at me. I can hear you.

別向我大喊大叫的。我聽(tīng)得見(jiàn)你的話(huà)。

We shouted to her to be careful.

我們大聲告訴她一定要當(dāng)心。

11. or的用法

1)(用肯定句)或…, 還是…, 或是…

She or I have to bring it.

要么她要么我必須帶上它。

Is it green or blue?

它是綠色的還是蘭色的?

Which do you like better, apples or oranges?

蘋(píng)果或是橘子你更喜歡哪個(gè)?

Are you going to leave or stay?

你打算離開(kāi)還是留下來(lái)?

2)(用否定句)…和…都不

He doesn’t smoke or drink.

他既不抽煙也不喝酒。

3)(用命令句之后)要不然,否則

Let‘s move that bag, or there may be an accident.

咱們挪開(kāi)那個(gè)袋子,否則會(huì)發(fā)生事故的。

Get up or you’ll be late for school.

快起床,否則你會(huì)遲到的。

Take this bus or (else) you won‘t get there in time.

坐這輛公共汽車(chē),否則你是無(wú)法及時(shí)趕到那兒的。

12. move

1) vt. 搬動(dòng)(某一物體)

Let’s move the big stone away from the road.

咱們把那塊大石頭從馬路上挪開(kāi)吧。

You‘d better move your chair to the door. It’s cool there.

你最好把椅子挪到門(mén)口那兒去,那兒涼快。

2) vi. 搬家,移動(dòng)

When are you going to move into your new house?

你打算什么時(shí)候搬入新房?

The Greens moved to Beijing last week.

格林一家在上周搬家到了北京。

He hurt his leg and couldn‘t move.

他傷到了腿,無(wú)法移動(dòng)。

move away sth. 把…搬開(kāi)

I’ll go and move away the bag of rice with Lin Tao.

我去和林濤一起把那袋米搬開(kāi)。

Please move away the desk and the chair.

請(qǐng)把那個(gè)桌子和那把椅子搬開(kāi)。

13. not … until … 直到…才…

這一結(jié)構(gòu)中的not…until要結(jié)合起來(lái)理解,不要分開(kāi)理解。

until可作介詞,接表示時(shí)間的名詞,也可作連詞,接一個(gè)表示時(shí)間的狀語(yǔ)從句。

Kate didn‘t go to bed until 10 o’clock.

凱特直到10點(diǎn)才上床睡覺(jué)。

Kate didn‘t go to bed until her mother came back.

凱特直到她媽媽回來(lái)才上床睡覺(jué)。

I didn’t finish my homework until ten o‘clock last night.

昨天晚上我直到10點(diǎn)才完成作業(yè) 。

He won’t get up until I call him.

直到我叫他,他才起床。

14. lie (lay, lying) vi. (人、動(dòng)物)躺,臥

The man lay on the road.

這個(gè)男人躺在馬路上。

The boy lay on the sofa.

這個(gè)男孩子躺在沙發(fā)上。

They lay on the grass.

他們躺在草地上。

lie on one‘s back/side/stomach仰臥,側(cè)臥,俯臥

15. stop v. 停止(車(chē)、機(jī)器)

They go round the corner and stop the traffic.

他們走到拐彎處,阻止車(chē)輛繼續(xù)前行。

I stopped the car.

我將汽車(chē)停了下來(lái)。

The policeman stopped the truck at the gate.

警察將卡車(chē)停在了大門(mén)口處。

16. It is nice of + n. (sb.) + to do (某人)真親切做…

It is nice of you to ask me to your party tonight.

今晚你能邀請(qǐng)我參加你的晚會(huì)真是太好了。

17.crowd round團(tuán)團(tuán)圍住…

Don’t crowd round him.

別擠在他的周?chē)?/p>

The girls crowded around the film star.

18. as … as one can =as … as possible盡可能地

As quickly as she could (=As quickly as possible), Miss Zhao got a medicine box.

趙老師盡可能快地去拿了一個(gè)藥箱。

The boy ran towards school as fast as he could (=as fast as possible).

這個(gè)男孩子盡可能快地向?qū)W校跑去。

You must be as careful as you could (=as careful as possible) when you cross the road.

當(dāng)你過(guò)馬路的時(shí)候,你一定要盡可能的小心。

19. hurry up vi. 趕快(不用于否定句,常用于命令句)

Hurry up, or you will be late.

快點(diǎn),否則你要遲到的。

hurry off / away vi. & vt. 匆匆離去

Miss Zhao hurried off to look after the man.

趙老師匆匆趕去照看那個(gè)人。

20.With the medicine under her arm, Miss Zhao hurried off to look after the man.

with + 名詞 + 介詞短語(yǔ):這一結(jié)構(gòu)可用作狀語(yǔ),表示伴隨狀況。

The teacher came in with a book under his arm.

老師胳膊下夾著一本書(shū)進(jìn)來(lái)了。

The poor woman walked through the street with a baby on her back.

這個(gè)可憐的婦女背上背著一個(gè)嬰兒穿過(guò)了馬路。

21. A gets help from B =B gives help to A

Jim gets help from Tom. =Tom gives help to Jim.
